If your phone has a physical SIM slot, including older iPhone, Samsung and most Android models, the card gives it eSIM. You can then use the same travel eSIM plans as the newest phones.
You can skip the card.

Is it a physical card or a digital eSIM?
It's a physical card. It gives eSIM to phones that have a regular SIM slot but no built-in eSIM. You put it in your SIM slot, then load eSIM plans from any travel eSIM provider. We don't sell data plans. The card is the hardware that lets your phone use the plan you choose.
Will it work in my phone?
Yes, as long as your phone has a physical SIM slot. That includes older iPhone, Samsung and most Android models without eSIM. If your phone already has eSIM, you don't need the card.
